SWIM UP CLOSE
in the natural environment in the Caribbean Sea of Mexico with the
Ocean's LARGEST FISH: The "WHALE SHARK". These huge sea creatures
are found off the coast of Holbox Island Mexico in the state of
Quintana Roo near Cancun.
The
WHALE SHARKS are harmless & Non Threatening to humans. In Fact, they
seem to enjoy their interaction with the curious people to come to
swim with them. They Migrate to Holbox Island every June thru
September.
On the way to the WHALE SHARKS you'll be treated to viewing the
abundant sea & bird life found at Isla Holbox. On a typical day in
these still "UNSPOILED WATERS" you might see a School of Wild
Dolphins, Flocks of Flamingos, Stingrays, Ibis, Egrets, Pelicans,
The Rare "Chimay Birds" and much much more.
The tour starts in Punta Sam pier at 7:45 am towards the whales
shark place (takes approximately one hour by boat). On the way the
tour guide will explain about this incredible creature and how to
swim with them. Once we arrive the guide will take you to swim with
the whale sharks for approximately 3 hours.
After we will make a ecological tour to the Contoy Island where we
can admire dolphins, turtles, flamingos and the natural beauties of
this paradisiatic island.
After visiting the Contoy Island we will go on the boat to the coral
reefs of the Caribbean Sea near Isla Mujeres Island.
After snorkeling, we will enjoy a delicious fish and shrimp ceviche.
We will be back at 4:00 pm in Punta Sam pier.
