Day 1. Mexico. Arrival at Mexico City airport. Assistance and transfer to the hotel.
 

Day 2. Mexico City Tour.
Breakfast.
In the morning, a panoramic visit through the city, starting at the historic downtown, visiting the main square, Zocalo, Cathedral, Government Palace, Diego Rivera’s Murals. We will continue on to Reforma Avenue and Chapultepec. A brief visit to the Anthropology National Museum, one of the most important in the world. There you may stay on your own or go back to the hotel. We suggest an optional excursion to Xochimilco's water canals. Overnight
 

Day 3. Mexico City-Basílica of Guadalupe-Teotihuacan.
Breakfast.
We will go to Tlatelolco area in order to make a brief stop at the Three Cultures Square. Continue to Guadalupe Shrine, the second most visited catholic sanctuary in the world. Head to the archaeological site of Teotihuacán, “where the men become gods”. We will admire this advanced culture with the Sun & Moon pyramids, the Temple of Quetzalcoatl and the Butterflies palace. Lunch. Visit to a handicraft factory and go back to the hotel. Overnight.
 

Day 4. Mexico City-Chihuahua.
Breakfast.
Transfer airport-hotel. You will embark upon a wide ranging tour of this thriving capital city. Among many other things, you will visit the State Capitol with its famous murals depicting the history of the state of Chihuahua; the Museum of the Revolution, which was formerly the home of Pancho Villa and which still contains fascinating memorabilia from his controversial life, as well as numerous exhibits on the Mexican Revolution; Cathedral and the colonial aqueduct. Overnight.
 

Day 5 Chihuahua - Creel
Early in the morning check out of the hotel and board the Chihuahua al Pacifico train at the depot. This is the beginning of your journey through the plains and foothills of the Sierra Madre Mountains. The town of Creel is our first destination to visit. Upon arrival, check into the hotel and embark on an afternoon tour of the area. The sights here include Tarahumara native cave dwellings; an old Jesuit mission, the lake “Arareco”, and the interesting rock formations in the "Valley of the Mushrooms". Dinner. Overnight.
 

Day 6 Creel - Copper Canyon
Breakfast.
After a free morning, you will board the train for a short trip to the Copper Canyon. Arrival and checking into the Hotel Posada Mirador, which is perched on the rim of the canyon, you will have the entire afternoon to enjoy the breathtaking scenery from your private balcony. Dinner. Overnight.
 

Day 7. Copper Canyon - Los Mochis
Breakfast.
You will have the morning free to visit the Tarahumara natives, buy their craftwork, and hike among the numerous lookout points. After lunch, you will reboard the train for the last and most exciting leg of the rail trip across the Sierra Madre Mountains. This stage with its great scenery also shows the incredible engineering achievement accomplished by the builders of the Chihuahua to Pacific Railroad. Once in Los Mochis, you will be transferred to the Hotel Santa Anita. Overnight.
 

Day 8. Los Mochis-airport.
Breakfast.
Transfer to Los Mochis International Airport or Bus Terminal.
End of services.
