This is an excellent option for all the people that loves adventure and
culture !!!. We will pick you up at the hotel in comfortable air
conditioned bus and tour guide. It will take about two hours bus
drive to get to
Coba. Archaeologists say that Coba was the largest
of all ancient Mayan cities. Within this site there are thought to
be over 6,500 structures spread out over 50 square kilometers. Coba
boasts the tallest pyramid of the Mexican Mayan world. 42 meters
high with 120 steps, Pyramid Nohoch Mul, is worth the climb since
the view from the top is more than spectacular. This site also
includes a well restored ball court, and dozens of stele that have
been well preserved. You will have a guided tour in Coba for one
hour and one hour and a half free time for pictures. After we will
enjoy of a lunch in the “El Bocadito” restaurant at Coba (salad,
soup and a dish to choose from 4 different choices: pork, chicken,
fish, and beef). Then we continue on our tour (one hour
approximately) to “Yul Ha Cenote”. In this natural well we will
enjoy 45 minutes of the best swim in the area in crystal clear
waters from the under ground rivers, life jackets will be provided.
After this refreshing swim we will go to Aktunchen (45 bus drive
approximately). We will spend around 45 minutes visit. "Aktun Chen", which in Mayan means "Cave
with an underground river inside". The park has an area of 400
Has (988 acres) of unexplored Rainforest . Three
caves with a "cenote" (underground river) have been
discovered in the park. The main cave is now suitable for an easy walking
tour which has been enhanced with indirect lighting for a better
view and enjoyment of the thousands of stalactites, stalagmites and
natural sculptures, all of them formed by water and calcium
carbonate throughout five million years. After this unforgettable
experience we will return to your hotel around 8:00 pm.
